Celebrate Montrose – Home Town Days!
September 26th & 27th, 2026!
Celebrate Montrose – Home Town Days is the highlight of our event season! In light of the years since Montrose was first established as a town, we want to highlight the fun, friendly and wonderful things that make our town unique and a good place to call home.
New for 2026, we will be hosting this event in September!
Festivities generally happen at the Montrose Community Center and Lions Park, but there is fun to be had all over town, including the parade that runs through town, and disc-golf at the local course…

Winter Bingo & Chili Feed
February 22nd, 2026 – Montrose Community Center
Winter Fun for everyone! Bingo and Chili Feed at the Montrose Community Center.
$10 gets you Chili, cornbread and lemonade/coffee/water
$15 gets All You Can Eat Chili, plus the cornbread and drink.
BINGO: 10 Games. Games 1-9 will be $2/sheet and the payout per game will be 50% of the proceeds per game.
GAME 10-COVERALL. $5/sheet with the payout being 75% of the proceeds for game 10.
All funds raised will be used by Celebrate Montrose for future community events in 2026, including the Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th and Hometown Days, which will be held on new dates this year, September 26-27th!…
Springtime Easter Egg Hunt!
April 4th, 2026 – Montrose Community Center & Lions Park
Come celebrate Easter and Springtime with this fun, family-friendly event. Visit with the Easter Bunny, and hop around for the super-fun Easter egg hunt!

Trunk-or-Treat & Halloween Dance!
TBD October 2026
It’s SPOOKY season! Celebrate Montrose hosts a Trunk or Treat in the Montrose Community Center Parking Lot.
After the little ghosts and goblins collect their treats, join us in the Community Center to dance off all the sugar!

Trunk or Treat is FREE!
Dance entry fee is $5 per child with a $20 cap for each family!
Jingle-All-the-Day & Breakfast with Santa!

Join us for a morning celebrating the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year!”
Pancakes, sausage, fruit and drinks with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Get your picture with Santa, play Christmastime games, paint crafts, go on a carriage ride around town, and take in all the JOLLY times of this season!

Committee Meetings…
Our meetings occur on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 6:00pm in the Montrose City Hall.
Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend!
We love to hear feedback about how we can incorporate more fun activities into our community, and we would love to have your help as a VOLUNTEER!
